I was born and raised in Costa Rica, and I have spent almost my entire life here. From early on I was involved in forestry projects — working with local and international investors, managing teams, and learning that the only way to deliver quality is to control every step of the process yourself. Over the years I built up the knowledge, the experience, and the infrastructure that serious construction in this region requires.

When Thomas came along, everything changed. He brought the business structure, the client standards, and the organizational discipline I had always respected but never had the platform to fully apply.

Today I know every supplier, every trade, and every corner of this region. That knowledge is in every home we build.

I first visited Costa Rica in 1995 — and I never quite got it out of my system. After spending years as an executive and board member at a major German corporation, I made the move permanent. I've now lived in Guanacaste, for over 15 years.

What I brought with me was a career built on running complex organizations, making commitments to clients, and delivering on them. What Costa Rica gave me in return was a place worth building something real.

When I met Javier, we realized quickly that between us we had everything this market was missing: his roots, his network, his knowledge of the land — and my experience building and running companies. Together we built YourPieceOfParadise from the ground up.
